VOLKSWAGEN SUPER BOWL

When a brand invests $10+ million in the Super Bowl, they want guaranteed views.

So in the 24 hours following the 2014 Super Bowl, we hacked YouTube's masthead to allow for increased viewer engagement with our Big Game spot (Written by Grant Piper and David Roth). The INTERNET-IFIER 5000 created “internet-ified” versions of our spot (babies, cats and sharks - oh my). Through clever use of flash overlays,  each view of different versions counted towards the original film’s viewcount, which topped 18 million.

THE CATS VERSION

THE BABIES VERSION

THE SHARKS VERSION

Isn't it funny how in 2014 we were like "Oh, sure - a kinda pixelated screen capture video will TOTALLY do the experience justice!"?
But have a look because it was pretty slick. Would you just look at that instantaneous toggling in real-time!
